By Football Coaches.
My
father, Gil Krueger was a High School Football Coach,
College and Pro football coach for over 30 years. He was named Coach
of the year in 1976 for going 13-1 and winning the National Championship
at Northern Michigan University.
Coach
Krueger was also named Missouri Valley Coach of the Year in 1979
while at New Mexico State University. While at NMSU some of his
assistants were Pete Mangurian, formerly Offensive Line Coach for
the Atlanta Falcons and Bruce DeHaven, current special teams coach
for the Dallas Cowboys.
Coach
Krueger was also the running back and wide receivers coach, for
the 1983 New Jersey Generals of the USFL. While with the Generals
he coached
Heisman Trophy Winner Hershal Walker.

of the players he coached was Quarterback Steve Mariucci now Head
Coach for Detroit Lions in the NFL.
So
